John. You need to initialize a performance to get things where it is easy to
edit. To do this, press job, then f1, then inc, enter and inc again. This
should get you a piano sound only. Trying to do this from an stock
performance is going to be even harder.

Damon: must be doing something wrong.  I'm starting out with the first
performance on the Motif from the factory called syber step.  When I hit F2
and do what you say I don't get bank changes or patch changes.  Am I
starting out at the wrong place, I know you said to start from an
initiallized performance, is that something different than I'm doing.
