Hey Michael. Great post! Just to ad that I too work on both platforms and
think that choice is good for all. Have to work in Pro Tools and Sonar as
part of my job as a mixing/mastering engineer and as someone who also does
training, I think there are merits to both systems. E.G. once you have your
head around how VoiceOver works and Mac apps then it's cool because if
something is coded up properly then once you know how one app works, you can
easily learn another as there's a uniformity with regard to keystrokes etc.
Also I really enjoy running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit on this mid 2012
13 inch MacBookPro :-) Mac hardware is truly some of the best hardware I
have ever run Windows on :-)
