Jonas, try the following:

Close all programs.

Start Menu
CakeTalking 8.8
ResetSONARToolbars

After that runs, run the
CheckWindowsSettings utility as well.

Subject: [ddots-l] Question: Marking tracks between from and through doesn't
work...

Hey list,
Somehow I can't mark / select tracks between the from and through positions any
more. Each time I try, I get an error sound, jump to random positions on the
screen and need to press F6 (which doesn't help...). And the from and through
markers are automatically set to start and end of my project(s)...
I've already checked the screen resolution and everything was ok.
Windows7, CT 8.8
Please help!
Thanks, Jonas
