Well, now I'm having problems where when I close Sonar 8.5, my pc locks up.
Also, I opened Sonar earlier and got some of control surface.dll file isn't
loaded. Any ideas?

Okay, got it going again, once in to the control surface list I had to
highlight the Tascam fw1884 and then had to choose both incoming and outgoing
ports and for both I selected tascam fw1884 controler and tab to close. Now
everthings fine.

                Hi:

Did you check if Sonar has detected your interface as a control
surface? I think you need to go to the options menue and look for control
surface and make sure that your Taskam is selected as the default control
surface.

lol, I pressed the computer mode button on the Taskam, I think.
Sorry, really don't know for sure, surely wish I could get the Taskam working
again, trying to mix a project for tomorrow.

Okay, got rid of the silent busses detected
problem, but since I've installed my Ct and Sonar updates, my taskam is no
longer controled by sonar...or is it the other way? In any event, it's not
functioning allowing me to mix with the sliders, or are those called faders?
Please, somebody, help!
