If by DAW you mean my computer, I've had it since September 2, 2011. The
graphics card I have is the AMD ATI Radeon HD5400 series, though I'm not
sure of the exact model. I also have the Intel HD Graphics 3000. One of
those two is my graphics card, and the other is my video card, which I think
also has audio features. I also have the Realtek High Definition Audio
soundcard built in to the machine.

Subject: [ddots-l] Sonar 8.5 Producer: Audio Dropouts and JAWS Problems
Hi, it's Annabelle.
When I'm either recording or playing audio within Sonar, JAWS sometimes
seems to fall asleep. Could it be that focus is lost? Why is the Focus Loss
Announcement turned off by default? How do I prevent this from happening?
Also, what can I do to prevent dropouts and stuttering, clicks and pops when
recording from my computer's internal soundcard into the MOTU 896HD?
