Hi Floid, what you described should work using the clean audio tool.
However, to make things easier, you can create a client folder, then in there
create an album foler, and then create a project with folder. As long as the
folder has the cwp and an audio folder, it will work fine. When you are done,
then you just delete the folder and it's done. See the previous message I wrote
about moving a project and its audio into its own folder.

Subject: [ddots-l] Re: Tips for Deleting Unwanted Audio Data from SONAR 8.5
Folders
So I have a question about this and maybe it was answered here, not sure.
My preference is to collect projects under a folder name per client album
(record, cd, etc).
If I have a project within that client folder I want to delete, I remove the
.cwp using Windows explorer then in the client folder I use the clean audio
folder option from within Sonar.
I have assumed this removes the audio related to the .cwp file I previously
deleted. Is this correct?
Thanks,
Floyd...

data from SONAR folders. I seem to remember that there is some
important kind of "gotcha" tip that it is good to remember before
attempting to clear out unwanted audio tracks, etc.
Thanks,
