Isn’t there a global type option that allows you to clean up unused audio and
do so not on a per project basis?

Use the options in tools menu to remove any unused audio. Since sonar knows
what's needed and not for that particular project, you should be fine and not
lose important/needed stuff.

Please remind me about the do’s and don’ts of removing unwanted audio data
from SONAR folders. I seem to remember that there is some important kind of
“gotcha” tip that it is good to remember before attempting to clear out
unwanted audio tracks, etc.
