Clear DayDid you go into overwrite replace mode?  If using CT, press shift r 
and it will be the first option in the list.

  Hi Friends,
      I recently opened up a project and after recording on track one, I 
decided to record over it. I put the system in the correct mode for rerecording 
a track but still appears to be doing sound on sound as still hear the previous 
track. Is there something else that I could have missed. Have recorded over a 
track before with no problem when doing exact thing but obviously something 
must be different. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Dave
