Hi:For a while, I did Biance's Single Ladies, probably one of the most mindless pieces of trash ever recorded. Folks would clamor for it every night and I got totally burned out on it within a month. I can play songs that I've been doing for over 25 years and still love doing them, but this new stuff has a very short shelf life with me. I decided that I would not do stuff like that any more. Enough people come to see me doing what I like doing, the classic R&B, standards, some country, seventies and eighties stuff, etc. Why should I prostitute myself doing this trash?
