Yes Neville, It is a memory issue: I had the same problem. I was also running XP but, Home instead of Pro. and my machine also has duel Core processors. What I did to fix the problem, was to swap out my two one gig RAM modules and replaced them with 2 two gig modules. You just need to check and see if your mother board has only one slot or 2. That would be the only reason you would need to change your mother board. I don't understand why this happens. Whenever I bounce an audio track to clips or whenever I frees a soft synth, some of my other soft synths thatare not frozen will begin to play with a very choppy glitching sound. I haveto close the project in order to get them to play normally again. The onlything that prevents this from happening is to frees them. can anyone tell mewhy this is happening? It happens with dimension pro and with Psym 2 and with pentagon. I'm thinking that this may be a memory issue. I'm running sonar on windowsXP pro 32 bit and my CPU is a duel core Intel with two gigs of ram. A friend told me that in order to take advantage of the four gigs available I need toeither get windows 7 or upgrade to a 64 bit motherboard. Is this a memory issue? If not how do I resolve this issue? May the Peace of God which passes all understanding guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. God bless you!
