Yes.   The error was caused by a new device attached.  That's the TranzPort.
Everything you describe makes total sense.

Thank you.  When I contact FS to reauthorize should I have the tranzport
plugged in because the only time that error comes up is when the tranzport
is plugged  in.  I believe when I unplugged it and restarted my computer it
did not give me the prompt about reauthorizing jaws only when it was plugged

As Kevin said, your addition of another device has triggered JAWS to require
a reauthorization. You need to authorize it again, and if you have no more
authorizations left, then you need to contact FS via phone or the web to get
your authorization count back up again.

Hello,
I just downloaded and installed the drivers for tranzport control survace.
When I plugged in the unit and turned it on, I got an error 6 message from
jaws which put me in demo mode.  What do I do to fix this?  Thanks,
