I think You have to set it so you have to arm the Midi track to record on it,
then, when he's playing, arme both, the vocle track, and the piano track?
  is this correct?

    Hello,

This is the first time i've tried this: I was recording a client today who
is a pianist and singer. He likes recording and playing simultaneously. I used
a vst piano and had an audio track armed for his vocals. I wasn't aware of
this, but apparently, softsynths midi tracks don't record anything if you have
an audio track armed? Is this correct? If so, how do you remedy the situation?

    Thanks.
