Hi All:

I want to thank all of you who have provided some good tips to help me train
sighted staff in doing Braille. One of the things I had as an objective in
bringing up this issue is getting people trained in using DBT so they
wouldn't always have to rely on me or someone with expertise in Braille to
run things like newsletters, center brochures, flyers, ETC. From what I
have read, it looks like a good starting point for me would be to read up on
how one can best format word documents to make them more cleanly translate
into Braille. We use Word here. Also, Ann, I'd be interested in taking a
look at some of the tutorials you've put together, so please send me an
e-mail letting me know what you have and I can see what might help. My
e-mail address is shown below.

Once again, thanks to everyone for their tips and suggestions. This gives
me some material to pull together for doing a little bit of training.
