Oh yes indeed. Duxbury 103 or 4 fixed the nasty apostrophe problem, but it is often back now. If you don't turn off "change quotes to smart quotes" in Word, you get a three or four cell apostrophe. It also ignores fraction symbols which are also smart things. I think they got the name wrong--I think it should be called stupid quotes and fractions because it has been the downfall of many a good transcription project when the transcriber didn't check their work closely enough.
