The 'ea' contraction is obviously syllable-crossing, so it doesn't follow
syllable-division rule.

Subject: [duxuser] The EA Contraction

The ea contraction also appears incorrectly in "seattle", "reality" and
"create" just to name a few words. I violates rules of pronunciation as
well as other significant braille rules. I've written to BANA about this
advocating for the elimination of this contraction. it's space-saving
value is minimal, it's similarity to the dot 5 and also to the comma makes
it problematical for new or slow braille readers, etc. etc. If anybody
want s to read my two-page essay on this, write to me off-list. Just think
of the decision-making time it will cut down trying to decide to use or
not use ea. Okay, I'll stop now. (smile).
