Hi Ann, Could you give is the offending e-mail address please? Or at least the first part of it. I suspect 4,5,6 is an underscore, which is quite feasible, in an e-mail address, for example _george@xxxxxxxx So I suspect one of two things. 1) The address does actually contain an underscore. 2) If it was imported from Word, then this e-mail address wasn't actually a hyperlink, but underlined text. George. ________________________________ From: duxuser-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:duxuser-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 23 April 2003 21:03 To: duxuser@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Here's a strange thing. When I applied compinline to an email address and translated it to braille, the dots 4,5,6 and dots 3,4,6 appeared as they should have before the text. However, immediately after those two symbols was another dots 4,5,6 symbol, which must have indicated that the first letter of the person's name was capitalized. Is that proper computer braille code to indicate the upper case state of a letter? Ann Foxworth, Computer Braille Specialist Texas Commission for the Blind 4800 N.
