In 10.5, I think DBT assumes that your embosser has been adjusted to accept
escape sequences to control its setup parameters from the PC. So if
"recognize escape sequences" is set to Off on your embosser, you might get
these results as DBT resets the embosser to a known state at the beginning
of the document.
