I'm glad I could help. I found it in three references, actually. One is
the teacher's guide to the Nemeth code tutorial on the Braille Lite, one is
the lesson files from brl.org, and one is a downloadable Nemeth code
tutorial from tsbvi. (I'm away from the print references, too, and this was
what I could find on the internet.)

e.pdf (sorry, this one didn't come out as a link - cut and paste to get
to it. I'll warn you that it seems very good to me, very thorough, but it's
500 pages long! This is the one I actually quoted)

http://www.tsbvi.edu/math/math-resources.htm#Download This is the Nemeth
tutorial, and well worth the downloading.

Thank you Kaari. That is exactly what I needed to know. What reference did
you find that in? I'm going to mark it with a flag when I get back to my
office so I'll know where to find it in the future.
