Thank you Kaari for the list of resources for Nemeth Code. I will add that the BANA website has the Ruth Craig Book Learning the Nemeth Braille Code: A Manual for Teachers and Students, 1987 available as a BRF file. If you want the print copy, it can be purchased. Here is the link to the linking page on the BANA website: http://www.brailleauthority.org/Math-science.htmIt is my understanding that the 1972 Nemeth Code Manual is in the process of being scanned, so a PDF file might be posted on the web sometime soon.

I?m glad I could help. I found it in three references, actually. One is the teacher?s guide to the Nemeth code tutorial on the Braille Lite, one is the lesson files from brl.org, and one is a downloadable Nemeth code tutorial from tsbvi. (I?m away from the print references, too, and this was what I could find on the internet.)http://www.humanware.com/Site/Files/a/06cc20404d351cbaa2520fcd0d5adc3/69880fb23fdc53efc64164a28b86fd58/NT429_Nemeth_Tutorial_%20Teacher's_Reference_Guide.pdf (sorry, this one didn?t come out as a link ? cut and paste to get to it. I?ll warn you that it seems very good to me, very thorough, but it?s 500 pages long! This is the one I actually quoted)<http://www.brl.org/codes/session01/operations.html>http://www.brl.org/codes/session01/operations.htmlhttp://www.tsbvi.edu/math/math-resources.htm#Download This is the Nemeth tutorial, and well worth the downloading.Kaari
