Aloha Listers,
I just wanted to say that when I took the pre-test, it seems that it is expected that you are using Outlook. I use Eudora and missed most of the questions related to emailing. I am writing them back about it, but they don't ask what email program you are using. I didn't miss any of the other questions. I was shocked to hear that even though I did so poorly on the test, they could probably still work with me. It was a bit amazing... so just be warned if you don't use Outlook.

Hello all. I'm thinking about taking that online class on Duxbury from the Carroll Center. I understand some of you folks have either taken it or are in the process of completing it. Why would it be beneficial to take this class? Is the class worthwile? Were you satisfied with what you learned? How do you sign up for it and how much does it cost? Would you recommend the self-paced version or the timed version and why? How do you submit your assignments, especially braille graphics? How is the tactile graphics part adapted for totally blind students? Where can I go to get more information on the class? I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
