My discussion about Marlon and Marlon's brother made me think of another
thought that's been rolling around my empty skull.
So we've done a few things in honor of our deceased brothers. I'm good with
all of those, and I appreciate the folks who worked to get those accomplished.
But I was wondering about a permanent scholarship fund. Instead of coming up
with a new project every time one of us makes The Last Corps Trip, we can
memorialize our fallen classmate with a gift to the fund. The sadness of more
of us passing would be a bit offset with the fund growing and benefiting a
current student.
Obviously we can restrict it to a current BQ, if we wish. The gifts would
remain in the endowment, any interest/dividend to the scholarship.
If there is interest, I can find out the particulars from my niece,
