Attached are my test results using hrev49605 x86_gcc2 and hrev49292
x86_gcc2 (pre-launch daemon).
They both have virtually identical boot times. Just as an experiment I
copied the same bin and boot script to Alpha 4.1, and uncommented
#application/x-vnd.haiku-package_daemon in the boot script, since the
package daemon was non-existent. I attached this as well simply for sake
of comparison.
LD_boot_time (launch daemon boot time)
PLD_boot_time (pre-launch daemon boot time)
Alpha_boot_time (Alpha 4.1 boot time)
