To get back to the original point, I would favour Stippi's suggestion to
put in some simple heuristics to set the correct URL/Base URL -- that will
resolve the problem, at least.
Signing and all that would be great, as would renaming to avoid confusion.
It won't help us solve this bug, though, and that discussion should better
be moved to the mailing lists, I suppose :-)
