My touchpad doesn't work with these changes, but the keyboard does. The
keyboard drops a significant number of keystrokes however.
Also, with `listusb -v`, it fails to retrieve the product & manufacturer
strings and configuration for the touchpad, with significant delay for
these lines.
`time listusb -v`: 0m7.125s 0m0.001s 0m0.684s
