In the first part of BIRD160.1 - the table and hierarchy diagram (formatting
is lost here).
Table 11 - Language Extension Keywords
Keyword Description
[External Circuit]
[End External Circuit] References enhanced descriptions of structures on
the die, including digital and/or analog, active and/or passive circuits
[External Model]
[End External Model] Same as [External Circuit], except limited to the
connection format and usage of the [Model] keyword, with one additional
feature added: support for true differential buffers
[Node Declarations]
[End Node Declarations] Lists on-die connection points related to the
[Circuit Call] keyword
[Circuit Call]
[End Circuit Call] Instantiates [External Circuit]s and connects them
to each other and/or die pads
[Converter Parameters]
[End Converter Parameters] Adds tree-structured parameters named within
a .ibs file

Bob,
I am not sure what you mean by this. I just checked BIRD 160.1
and it correctly uses [Begin / End Parameter Trees] in the
ANY OTHER BACKGROUND INFORMATION section and in the example at
the end. Where did you use [Begin / End Converter Parameters]
instead?

I just noticed my mistake based on BIRD153.1.
The [Converter Parameters]/[End Converter Parameters] should be
[Begin Parameter Trees]/[End Parameter Trees]. I think the
details of BIRD153.1 needs to be decided before we vote on
BIRD160 and BIRD153.1.
