[mac4theblind] Installing my vm ware fusion and windows 7

Hello all.
I am going to put vm ware fusion and windows 7 on my macbook air.
I don't have a lot of need for this but I do want to train some people with
windows and I do some accessibility testing that I need to use windows and a
screen reader.
I don't have a copy of windows 7.
Have a very old copy of windows xp which I don't want to use.
So my question is, what is the best sequence of steps to do this?
Do I go and download windows first while I am using voiceover?
Can I download it after installing vmware?
Can I do the whole thing without sighted assistance?
I'm a bit nervous and don't want to mess up my macbook air.
any tips?
I know we have discussed this before but just wondering the sequence of what I
need to do when.
