you can also get a complete report on your macs specs by finding it in the 
apple store or using her serial number to find it.  being assured that it would 
work is not enough and lew is correct, apple sales are there to sell, not to 
support.
I’ve sugested to folk that they get 8 g ram and at least 256 gb of sad for 
windows.  I don’t know about vm but that should suffice for bootcamp.  boot 
camp is a lovely way to go and it’l show you why I don’t use windows although 
it would be interesting to see how fast the putter boots with it.
