What type of attachment is it? also, you can use the file menu and save
attachments if you like, they will go to the download folder on your mac unless
you've changed the default for it.

That is odd. I honestly can’t think of anything else. I know I had another
client who had a problem like this and we had to use quick look to simply open
and stave the attachment.
