Let me clarify.

I know the volume of the call is fine. I meant when she is in! a call, is that
when Voiceover is real quiet, or is it quiet all the time regardless if a call
is in progress.

Chris.

She says that her volume on a call is ok, it's just VoiceOver that's not loud
enough and so far as she can tell, the volume for VoiceOver is turned up all
the way, at least by using the side buttons. I'm going to work with her
tomorrow on how to do a number of things on the iphone, so I'll see if we can
get the voice to be any louder. Maybe switching to the Dan voice will help her.

It will not work wiht the phone part though. I heard it and it is still way
too low. I don't use a 4s but I"m hoping apple will fix that.

this is partly dependant on the voice, but there is a volume for vo
setting, you cn do it in one of two ways, in universal access settings on the
phone, look for the router, in there, make sure you have added the volume. to
adjust the volume with this, on any screen, twist two fingers like you are
turning a dial and you will hear a number of items you can work with with and
one is volume which refers to vo volume, flick up and down to change the
setting. the other method is to get vo chattering on any screen with a two
finger flick up and then to press the side buttons to adjust the volume.

If this does not work, I've found that daniel full is be loudest voice.

I have a friend who just bought a 4S and the volume, even at its loudest,
for VoiceOver is not very loud. Her service is with AT&T, although I don't
think that matters for this. I wonder if anyone else has this problem and if
anyone knows of a solution. Thanks.
