boy if that doesn’t sound like a windows issue stating there is no item with
keyboard focus,Now Alex tells me that sometimes when I may have closed
something with just the command-w.
You might want to look in vo utility on the
navigation tab for keyboard such as synchronize keyboard focus and voice over
cursur its a check box,i have it checked
also on the keyboard popup first item I have first item checked.
when you delete mail from inbox, are you saying its still showing in inbox or
the trash folder?
look in mail prefs,on accounts tab, then right arrow to mailboxs there’s some
settings for deleting trash, junk, etch set to when you close mail or other
options if you don’t want items removed from the trash or other mailboxs. i
delete mine, but i keep a copy in my sent folder

I am using the latest version of High Sierra.
I also am using a late 2012 iMac.
In apple mail I frequently get a message telling no focused item.
I have to get out of apple mail and this goes away for a while.
My other issue is I delete several messages and they are still in the list
until I close apple mail.
Is there something I can do to correct these issues?
Thanks very much.
