I get notifications that I have set on my phone and each time they come up,
whatever I am doing stops and I have to click on the close button before I can
resume what I am doing. Same thing happens when that log in panel comes up,
everything stops. If I’m reading in a long document I have to find my place
and begin reading again but do not have to do anything to close it.
When I was using my MBP, the notifications from my phone never popped up on the
screen like they do now and as I said, I have to click on close to continue
what I was doing. The only ones that did pop up were items in the window
chooser and I never had to do anything with them until I was ready.
I’ve also noticed that when my iPhone rings, it rings on the MBA also,
something I’ve never seen.
I guess I was thinking that I could do something about this in notifications
but writing about it, it doesn’t make sense to do that.
In regard to the energy saver you mentioned in a previous post, do I do that
under the battery tab or the power adaptor tab?

No Trish, it has nothing to do with your screen saver. I have mine set to
never show a screensaver and I still get the authentication message. Like I
said in my previous message, adjust your display sleep time in energy saver.
I don't recommend changing the display to never sleep as what is on it could
burn into your screen. Setting it to 10 or 20 minutes max should give you the
proper result. As for notifications, Barbara, what kind of notifications are
you getting while using the computer?
