Quoting Henry Thomas <whpthomas@xxxxxxxxx>:

Does anyone know of a front
derailleur that will shift up to 60t?
>
My charts tell me that most double Shimano road derailleurs (Tiagra and above)
shift up to 56 tooth. (FD-7700/FD-6500/FD-5500/FD-4400 not 7703/6503 etc.
triples). 60 tooth is only 7% larger, so the curve of the cage should fit OK. I
have run 48 tooth rings with 42 tooth derailleurs before(14% larger). Shifting
is not optimal, but it works. Use 14 tooth maximum difference with the inner
ring and it should shift OK.
