Very low BB height might cause your pedals hit the ground when cornering. Also it is less efficient if you prefer the sportive riding. Very high BB seems to increase wheel flop and pedal induced steering. Als it might be annoying having the feet in the view. Take 20 cm and it will be fine.
I learned yesterday that one main constrain for the BB/seat difference is the aerodynamics. Your body should hide as good as possible behind the "action radius" of your feet. Not to unnecessarily increase resistance. So: your lower heal should be at seat height, while the your upper tows should cover your shoulders. Then the seat angle has to be taken into account as well. Sounded logical to me. But I am not sure how important aerodynamics are, really for the python speed. But I guess it may be relevant.
Be the test subject for us and tell us what you found out. So far no one dared to make front suspension. Any pictures of your construction plans?
I probably explained it poorly. I made a quick picture of the middle and rear part. The seat would be similar to your seat Jürgen. ....at least on the picture. The bottom and main weight is on the pivot. The idea is to connect two pivots (green rods on the picture) in 90 degree angle and then tilted to about 60 degree. The position of the shock absorber (or just a rod instead) would then change the pivot angle.
Thanks for your comments Grüße Thomas
