I installed ubuntu on the pi w/o sighted assistance. After burning the
image, I did the same thing with the first partition folks do with the
raspbian one, I just created an empty ssh file in the root file system,
and when I booted the pi, ssh was operational, and I was able to connect
just fine. I don't know if it was a result of my ssh file or if it was
enabled by default, but either way, I had no trouble connecting to the
pi once I determined what ip address my router gave the pi.
