Hello list,

I got a couple of wifi dongles through the post today in an effort to
reduce the amount of spaghetti that lays across my desk.

But I'm having a lot of trouble with getting the things to work.

The two Raspis are no more than a foot away from the access point here
because the hub is on the windows sill just to the right of my desk.

One thing I am confused about is whether the 'essid' argument to
iwconfig should be the name of my access point?

And I have yet to understand wpa_supplicant and how I can get my Raspis
to connect to my wifi AP automatically on boot.

Mike
