I too think the command line is superior to the GUI for most things,
and even on my desktop machines where I have computing power to burn,
I do nearly everything in text-mode, and if I could find a text-mode
web browser that works with SBL as well as Firefox works with Orca,
I'd ditch my xserver altogether.
On a related note, I consider the inability to turn off the GUI to be
one of Windows' biggest bugs.
