Too true, and, if remember correctly, besides saying it didn't require a
driver, the second one I got hold of stated on it's packaging that it
was compatible with windows, mac and linux, or something along those lines.

SDCard, and then booted up the pi on that image/card, with the
second audio adapter plugged in, it still worked the same.
And, both of those adapters just had two sockets on them - audio
out, and microphone in - both cheap, simple audio adapters, with
no really important branding, etc. - most likely sort of generic
clones, if that makes sense.

I did have one more question over operating systems.
Does Android’s Talkback speech work on the Raspberry Pi. I’ve
heard of people running android, and i have also heard of
Chromium OS. so does ChromeVox work on it also? I’m kind of
wanting to use the Raspberry pi for different thigs. So i may
throw one thing at it one day, and then another thing a

discussions, you need a dedicated sound card in order to have
Orca run smoothly on the Pi.
