Are their any recommendations as to what Sound card is best?
I did have one more question over operating systems.
Does Android’s Talkback speech work on the Raspberry Pi. I’ve heard of people
running android, and i have also heard of Chromium OS. so does ChromeVox work
on it also?
I’m kind of wanting to use the Raspberry pi for different thigs. So i may throw
one thing at it one day, and then another thing a different day.
thank you for the information.

That was on the pi 2 - it seemed like ubuntu mate GUI/orca overloaded
hardware, so you would hear a couple of syllables spoken, before it
would bomb out, but, using an external USB audio adapter, it would work
alright.
Will get around to trying it out on the pi 3, but, for now, just want to
get it up and running using raspbian... - busy downloading september
jessie image right now...<smile>
Stay well

I haven't touched the GUI with the proverbial ten-foot pole on my Pi,
but from what I remember reading in prior discussions, you need a
dedicated sound card in order to have Orca run smoothly on the Pi.
