[TN-Bird] (no subject)

Just a few notes from this past week:
---Monday at Clyde Austin 4-H Center in Greene County I saw my first Purple 
Finch of the season, a female.  I haven't seen it again.
---Tuesday I saw a piebald albino American Goldfinch at my home in Central 
community in Carter County.  It had black wings and tail, bright yellow head, 
and a white body - very pretty.  I haven't seen it again, either.
---Thursday at the 4-H Center I observed a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker feeding 
on persimmons on the tree by pecking at them.  Other good birds that day 
included my first Fox Sparrow of the season, Northern Bobwhites, Common 
Snipe, Palm Warbler, and Sharp-shinned Hawk.
---Friday morning at home I had 1 male and 5 female Rusty Blackbirds feeding 
on mixed birdseed scattered on the ground in my backyard.
