Our group of eleven tallied 46 species. Highlights included good views of an
Acadian flycatcher, Scarlet Tanager, Pileated family and bluebirds. We saw two
of the reported three eagle chicks on the nest with one vigorously flapping its
wings. All are welcome to joins this Sunday walk that meets at 8:00am in the
visitors center parking lot. -- Marshall Rawson, McLean VA
