About 21 birders assembled for this morning's Huntley Meadows Monday Morning
Birdwalk. We managed to spot 44 species on a warm, humid, partly cloudy
morning. It seems summer is here. And with it a general decline in Huntley
birds. Our highlights today were restricted to watching the activities in and
around Blue-grey Gnatcatcher and Kingbird nests. The Wood Duck and Hooded
Merganser chicks are growing and both family groups seem to be prospering.
