There were 15 birders on this morning's Huntley Meadows Monday Morning
Birdwalk,
and we spotted 48 species. Notable sightings included an unusual number of
Great Blue Herons and Great Egrets; a great fishing display by an Osprey giving
the high speed cameras set up on the tower some great shots; a rare summertime
Swamp Sparrow; our first 'peeps' of the season; and the gobble of a Wild
Turkey. A great morning!
