We assembled a large crowd for today's Huntley Meadows Monday Morning Birdwalk.
Around 30 gathered, and we tallied 65 species. There were several Monday
morning First-of-Season sightings including Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Acadian
Flycatcher, Eastern Kingbird, and Indigo Bunting. An adult Little Blue Heron
drew a lot of attention, as did some old standbys such as Bald Eagle, Wood
Ducks, and Red-headed Woodpecker.
