Some 30 birders showed up for this morning's Huntley Meadows Monday Morning
Birdwalk. We had a good morning, with a count of 53 species. Of special note
were 10 species of ducks and geese. While the individual counts among these
species was low, the genera count is growing. With this morning's cold
temperatures, we begin a new season of funny hats. Not too much of a sampling
today, but we have all winter yet.
