Hello all,
I decided to go to Mill Creek Lake at 3PM 11-17-11 to see
what was there. When I arrived I noticed a large raft of ducks.
I would say about 300. I got my scope and scanned the raft.
I had:
Surf Scoter- 5 maybe 6
Common Goldeneye- 1 male
Redheads-many
Lesser Scaup-many( majority of raft)
Am Wigeon- many
Horned Grebe- about 2 dozen
Bufflehead- many M and F
The ducks were setteling down for the night. I hope
they will be there in the morning. I stayed until it
got dark.
I am planning on going back tomorrow morning. I'll
be there at 8AM if anyone wants to join me.
