I don't mind the rare bird reports; I glance at them. If a decision is made to
stop posting them, I hope that someone explains how to sign up for the rare
bird alerts through eBird for those who might not know how to do so. I didn't
find it as straightforward as I thought it would be, not being a regular eBird
user, and some people may have trouble.
Count me in as also liking the travelog-type, especially if a list of birds
seen follows so that it's easy to see overall which birds were seen. But if
it's not there, that's cool, too.
As for digests, as I told Tom, I read the emails on my iPad and iPhone and find
individual emails much easier to deal with...but everyone's different.
I don't post very often at all. Overall, I just appreciate that people take the
time to let us know what they're seeing.
