no luck.
am getting mixed up with the instructions.

so i have a folder now called all schools
i have a second folder called newspapers
as a test i want to put the contacts from newspapers into all schools.

can you clarify instructions again naming whch folder i am in at each stage??

Hi Paul,

The following will work with Windows XP, outlook Express, so can but hope it will also work for you.
First, create the new folder in your Address Book.
that done, then, on each of the folders you want to copy from, press <shift+F10>, goto copy and press <enter>. Depending on how many addresses you are copying, it may take several seconds. You can read selected item to get an idea. Once copied, then you can move to the folder to be copied to, and paste from the clipboard.
Repeat this for each of the other folders.

hi folks,

i have 6 folders in my address book whose contents i want to put into just one folder thus creating one group to send emails to, however though i can select all the members in a folder i cannot copy them to put into the one big folder i am creating.

can anyone assist
