Thanks for info. I downloaded Microsoft word on my iPhone last night
and am happy with it so far. Didn't spend much time on it yet but
everything I need formatting wise and ease of use seems to be there.
You get 30 days to try it free and then you can purchase an office 365
subscription for €69 a year.
With even the trial version of Office 365 you must sign up for a
Microsoft account to be able edit and save documents. When you pay
for the subscription you get 5 gigs of online storage on oneDrive and
when working on documents they automatically save there by default.
Not sure if you get this free storage with the trial as I havn't
tested it yet. You can also purchase aditional storage if needed at a
reasonable cost. There is also a lightening USB you can purchase in
different storage capacities for saving documents or iPad.
Unfortunately you can't put this USB in to your PC.
I have an apple bluetooth keyboard but have really only used this for
sending long emails and righting notes. I have always launched the
applications and went to the areas I want to type in from the phone
and therefore, don't know how to control the whole phone from the
keyboard. I found multiple lists of bluetooth keyboard functions
online but none of these seem to be working for me. For example, when
I am on the home screen how do I launch the mail app from the
keyboard, compose an email and send it? Any help with this would be
greatly appreciated.
