Hi flor,

I'm no longer using jaws I am using window eyes now,
I loved jaws and was so used to it. But when my computer gave up at Christmas
and I had to get a new one I just could not afford to get jaws so I'm using the
free version of window eyes that comes with office 2010 and it is a nightmare

Hi,
This JAWS bug (that Stuart mentionns) is not in my JAWS16 and office 2010
Home and Student edition. However, it has been in previous versions of JAWS
and of Office. So, the problem (of JAWS making you save any document that
you opened) has been in-and-out for several years. It may be fixed for a
time, but then be broken again with another fix! Just either save, or delete
the .dotm file (if you can find it) when no Office program is in use, which
will fix things for a while.

Hi Susan,

If you are using JAWS this is a known bug, especially with Office 2010.
There's not a lot you can do about it at present. It is being worked on
though, and I think there will be a fix in a later version of 16.

Stuart
