I have added one or two sentence descriptions of a book I have validated
but not submitted.
Examples of improving a description might be "Christian romance set in
early twengieth century NY featuring Irish immigrants" or "Mystery set on
Navaho reservation featuring so and so". This kind of thing is more useful
to a potential reader than "mystery" or even "captain so and so
mystery". The description of time and place may intrigue a possible
reader. Really Guido is right about being able to get info off the book
jacket in case you do not feel like reading the aforementioned Christian
romance.
